Build cloud-computing skills in AWS

Amazon launched “AWS Cloud Quest”, a game to build cloud-computing skills in AWS.

The game is developed to help young or new-to-cloud users understand how the cloud works, by exploring core AWS services and categories through interactive and fun activities.

The experience helps users to build cloud-computing skills in AWS, by navigating through a virtual city where the player can collet gems and solve challenges. The game includes videos, quizzes and exercises based on real life scenarios, to build basic cloud solutions.

This new online game offers a fun way to engage young and new-to-cloud users, to understand abstract cloud computing concepts as storage, database, security services, etc., by solving a series of quests through the gameplay. Users can complete AWS simulations through puzzles and activities, receiving rewards as new styles, pets, themes, and other fun virtual items.

As part of Amazon training services, the initiative aims to train self-motivated learners, to build cloud-computing skills in AWS, and gain experience to prepare them to their professional development. The game is available for free on the AWS Skill Builder website.

Who said that we couldn’t play and learn? Give it a try on the AWS Skill Builder!
